tours only). You can opt for any of the above services
or a full tour package from us.
For domestic tours, generally, we include breakfast and
dinner. For international tours, it is breakfast. But,
meal specifications will be clearly mentioned for each
tour at the time of inquiry and booking.
Breakfast and dinner (if provided) are vegetarian/ Jain.
If you have any preference or certain food allergies, it
has to be conveyed at the time of booking. We will try
to arrange the food as per your request. Again, it is
tour dependent and we make all arrangements so that you
have a satisfied meal. If you have severe food allergies
or dietary requirements, you are advised to make
appropriate arrangements for it prior to commencing the
tour. Shukulyatra reserves the right to change the meal
arrangement if unavoidable circumstances make it
necessary. We do not provide bottled mineral water at
the time of meals or during the tour. On some days,
Shukulyatra may provide packed meals to suit the
itinerary of the tour. Breakfast and dinner are provided
in the hotel as per their facilities. Preferential
seating will not be available and members have to sit as
per the allocated seating for meals.
Our tour guide will have an emergency medical kit ready
when on group tours. But it is highly advisable that you
carry your own medicines (or at least some of it) in
your handbag so that it is always available in case of
emergency especially when there is a delay in getting
baggage or loss. We do help in emergencies by contacting
the local physician or hospitals as required with your

is also your responsibility that you are clear in your
understanding of the departure and pick up time from any

your tour. Any special requests should be made at the
time of booking itself. Shukulyatra does not guarantee
the request approval. Some requests may require
additional fees (like extending the stay, upgrading
accommodation/stay, etc) which have to be borne by the
client at the time of booking.
All clients travelling/staying alone have to pay the
full adult price plus a single room expense. Shukulyatra
cannot source rooms on sharing basis with another
passenger for you.
The prices mentioned in our brochures are listed per
adult based on a twin-sharing basis for the hotel rooms.
The child rate applies to children aged 11 years and
below provided they are accompanied by an adult. For
infants below 23 months, the travel fares are
applicable. Ages are calculated on the basis of the
return date. For individual travellers, single
supplement charges apply (50-100%).
You should be ready at least 10 minutes before the
scheduled pick up for transfer facilities from the hotel
to the airport. Customers who are late will have to make
their own travel arrangements. No refunds will be
provided due to missed connections.
Shukulyatra, in no form, shall be responsible for the
loss/theft of personal items of the customers. It is
advised that you be very cautious regarding your
personal items either while travelling or at hotels that
you stay in. All baggage is the owner’s risk and

babies under the age of 24 months, you have to carry a
valid ID proof. Each infant has to be accompanied by one
individual adult over the age of 18. You need to make a
separate booking using the child fare for the return
trip if the infant is 24 months or above.
We email the booking confirmation e-ticket to you within
1-2 days of the booking date. Usually, an e-ticket is
valid at the check-in counter. You have to carry a photo
ID proof with you along with the e-ticket. The e-ticket
can be on your mobile, laptop or tablet. But remember,
SMS (text message in the form of booking confirmation)
We provide standard 3* or 4* rooms on our tours. If
required, your room category may be upgraded at an
additional cost depending on its availability.
We arrange for rooms on twin sharing basis. A maximum of
three persons are allowed in each room. If you are a
family of four (2 adults and 2 children), then 1 child
will get an extra bed and the other has to share the bed
with 2 adults. The extra bed provided will be a sofa bed
or a rollaway bed that is suitable for 1 child/adult
only. If you are 1 adult and 1 child, you have to pay
full adult fare of the child to make up for the room
since we provide room on a twin-sharing basis. Some of
the hotels may have the option of a single room or a
room, subject to availability.
Normally we include vegetarian meals on all our tours.
